Hobbies and Interests

  • Metal fabricating, My personal tools include a 220v MIG welder, arc welder, & plasma torch, hand grinders, bench grinder, heavy wall tubing benders, hydraulic press, variety of clamps, vices, chop saw, drill press and more. These tools give me the capability to fix problems and make upgrades to my vehicles or home.
  • Wood working, My personal tools include a sliding compound miter saw, miter saw, router with table, biscuit joiner, professional table saw, circular saw, vices, variety of clamps, sanders, pneumatic stapler, nail guns, and large air compressor. Projects include making desks, dressers, cabinets, picture frames, outdoor covered patios, hardwood floors, framing walls, cutting and installing crown molding, installing doors, and building a large shed off the back of my garage.
  • Drawing and painting, I enjoy painting photo realism and surrealism with oil paints on canvas. I paint places I have been, I want to go, or that are interesting to me. Art has always come naturally to me and has continued to help me in my career when I need to demonstrate an idea or teach someone how something works by illustrating it.
