I build paint brush extension poles. I build poles in various sizes from one foot up to 8 foot. I also work on covers which go over the roller brush. I check every detail on the covers. These include blemishes, defects, discoloration, and other issues. This process is the same for our paint poles. I work on a team of 10 other operators who do the same tasks.
I work for Ramseyer Farms for 3 years and hopefully I will be going on my 4th year. I worked in Activities most of the time. This included working with all age ranges including adults & children. It brings me great joy to do this and every year I have a lot of fun. I have also worked in the Fry Factory, Pretzel Wagon, Snack Shack, Mazer Cop, & Groups and Grounds. This is a seasonal job that runs every September & October.
At Beuhler's Fresh Foods I was the Dairy Manager for a year and a half. I was in charge of the dairy department with a few employees under my lead. I was in charge of all orders with 7-8 different companies. I also needed to know all inventory every week. I worked with both our store manager and department manager (he was in charge of several departments and was directly under our store manager), to discuss up coming sales, ads, displays, and even decor of my department.
I was in charge of directing religious education for grades PreK-8th. I helped with our Youth Group. I was the recorder of all Sacramental Paperwork, i.e. baptism, 1st communion, confirmation, etc. I was in charge of 18+ Volunteers and coordinated schedules between teachers, parents, and students. I work with parents when complaints or concerns were brought up.
I pushed milk carts known as bossies out of transport trucks and then loaded them onto different trucks. after 2 years of that I was moved to the culture aisle. Culture was things like cottage cheese, specialty milks, sour cream, etc. I was tasked with filling orders from this aisle and then to refill the lane with it was empty by retrieving the back up pallet with a forklift.
