Performed in various ensembles such as Ceremonial Band, Concert Band, Woodwind Quintet, and Brass Quintet
Performed additional duties as Music Librarian Manager to include: maintaining accurate records of music the band is actively or has recently performed, processing and accounting new music as it comes in, and updating music folders that reflect the upcoming performance. Maintained organized files and stocked supplies to support team needs and maximize performance.
Was selected for promotion to the following ranks of Lance Corporal, Corporal, and Sergeant throughout this time period based on the reliability, work ethic, and professional conduct that was displayed
Leadership
Attended multiple Marine Corps seminars and classes which focused on enhancing leadership abilities and skills, as well as general Marine Corps customs
Given the responsibility of a Team Supervisor (Squad Leader), which consisted of directly supervising a group of 12-13 Marines in tasks such as accountability, basic military knowledge and training, mentorship, exceeding their limitations, and their general welfare and well-being
Given the responsibility of Euphonium Section Leader, which consisted of being held responsible for maintaining technical ability on the instrument, leading musical sectionals, and ensuring accountability of the Marines in the section.
