DUTIES

• Manage the performance of Third-Party Logistics (3PLs) providers internationally, setting and holding them to contracted performance standards.
• Negotiate and manage all contracts with carriers and service providers both internationally and domestically.

• Ensure compliance with all regulations associated with international trade including harmonized tariff codes, duties, taxes, and GST.

• Led the effort to resolve customs issues in the EU related to newly implemented Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and labeling regulations.
• Began bi-weekly calls with our 3PLs to discuss performance, action plans, and forecasts.
• Restored the perception of the Global Logistics department within Stampin’ Up!.
• Improved the forecasting tools provided to 3PLs.
• Utilized Quarterly Business reviews and Total Order Accuracy tools to significantly improve key performance measures across all international markets.
• Negotiated a new contract for small package domestic service resulting in over $500,000 in annual savings.
