Michael W. Mominey

Responsible for the growth, development and leadership and the overall success of a NCAA Division II Intercollegiate Athletic Department. Winning 13 NCAA Division II National Championships and 51 Sunshine State Conference Championships in 14 different sports.

Responsible for cultivating, stewarding, and securing philanthropic and corporate gifts of over $25 million dollars, including more than $10 million dollars dedicated to student-athlete scholarship endowments.

Fostered the increase and sustained academic success of the athletic department, maintaining a better than 3.40 GPA for all student-athletes for the past five years, and a better than 3.00 or higher since 2002.

Built and shepherded a culture of success, with a focus on high performance, collaboration, integrity, respect, inclusion, and accountability.

Leader and coach of a nationally ranked NCAA Division II baseball program, playing in the prestigious Sunshine State Conference, winning 300+ games. Three student-athletes played or are playing at the MLB level, including 2 MLB All Stars, 2 World Series Champions and another 35 student-athletes having. the opportunity to play professional baseball.

Recruitment of student-athletes of high character, unique skills with an acumen to become successful on and off the field and who have become impactful citizens in their communities following graduation.

Responsible for the leadership of a highly competitive high school athletic department and baseball team, while fostering a positive and inclusive culture of success both athletically and academically.

Collaborated with the president and executive administration to develop a strategic plan which included a master plan for on campus athletic facilities, recruit educators and coaches aligned in the vision and mission of a Catholic Marianist tradition.
