Personal experience:
Baskin Robins was my first “fast food industry” job. Here I learned the importance in making everyone’s encounter with the store enjoyable. With me being fifteen at the time I learned the importance of costumer service and satisfaction at a young age. I also made sure to keep inventory in mind, with keeping up with numbers and what was needed the next day. When I left after my shift I made sure that everything was set up and prepared for the next person on to have a successful shift.
Basic duties:
I was apart of a team that reconstructed the boulder trails. Many days we would have long hikes that led to projects. Our projects differed through out the days. Some days we would reconstruct trails for easier walking paths. Other days we would build bridges. It was a lot of labor that I enjoyed, it helped me appreciate team work, and resilience under tough conditions like weather and physical labor. This was my first set in stone job and it taught me life and work skills I plan to further use in my everyday life.
