- Hi my name is michelande saint surin. I worked at the Home Depot Pro Desk for 3 years and hit 1,000000 worth of sales . I did phone sales which are taking payment over the phone for the contractors if one of their workers came in . We also did delivery if our contractor's couldn’t take it with them, or if it wasn’t a in store item. We had 5 assigned contractors, we had to make sure they had all the items they needed, such as special drywall, roofing shingles, electrical wiring, toilets, special order doors, tubs, sinks etcccc with whatever they needed for the project. We would use something called Order up or Quote Center to order all items or create quotes for our contractors. If some contractors needed shingles delivered from us but they needed to drop off on top of the roof, we would help them out with that as well. We’ll create a roof drop off to make it easier for them
