*Offer home visits for homebound parishioners, others who may temporarily need guidance after surgeries, injuries, hospitalization. Visit in hospitals, hospice homes, if requested.
*Visit parishioners who reside in nursing facilities monthly.
*Welcome parish nurse office visits by parishioners in need of education, clarification on health-related questions.
*Assist with Good Samaritan Driver program to ensure parishioners have transportation to medical appointments, treatments.
*Arrange CPR/AED/FIRST AID class twice a year for parishioners.
*Coordinate Blood Drives three times a year with parishioners.
*Arrange education/presentations based on the health-related needs of parishioners.
*Offer prayer and Eucharist for parishioners unable to attend Mass. Collaborate this with Eucharist for Homebound Ministry.
*Assist parishioners with finding health supplies or equipment.
*Assist parishioners with finding home health care assistance.
*Member of the Health Ministry Commission (Parish Council).
*Offer presentations for Mass Hospitality Ministers r/e possibility of medical emergencies.
*Offer collaboration with parish's Director of Religious Education r/e emergency drills with PSR students.
*Maintained Staff Nurse position for majority of those years, providing nursing care for long-term care residents or on the temporary rehabilitation unit, which was known as Med. A hall.
*Shift Supervisor for the facility at times.
*Participated in CNA training program as a clinical supervisor.
*Mentored newly hired nurses.
* was assigned to Maternal/child unit, functioning as a Registered Nurse- caring for patients at all related levels of care.
