• Responsible for transport of Mobile Intensive Care patients in the MICU vehicle and for assisting with patient care in a prompt and efficient manner to all patients transported via Mobile Intensive Care. Responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, documenting, and evaluating patient care in conjunction with the medical transport team. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served on assigned unit. Assists in communications center; assesses inventory and reorders.
• Accompanies neonatal team on neonatal transports by air or ground. Assists the neonatal team in loading and preparing isolette in vehicle as needed. Acts as resource to team with operational issues related to vehicle and/or equipment.
• Completes annual flight crewmember training.

• Monitored cardiac rhythms using advanced telemetry systems to provide nursing staff with timely notification of changes that could impact patient condition. Analyzed arrhythmias, demonstrating proficiency in identifying abnormal heart patterns and informing the appropriate RN of any ECG and vital changes while documenting in patients EMR. Communicates clearly with nursing staff. Mentors new technicians and serving as a resource for training and troubleshooting to both CMU and nursing units.
• Resource role of up to 18 monitor technicians' for daily and department success. Constant monitoring patient crisis management including AMET, CMET, and CODE BLUE notification within 30 seconds. Create and share reports to Lead Tech on rotational Charge Tech assignment. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times. Point of contact for IT troubleshooting for the cardiac monitoring unit as well as other nursing units.

• Operated and maintained emergency medical equipment for optimal performance. Assessing the extent of illness or injury accurately and inquiring about the patient's medical history. Administering non-invasive therapies, including pulmonary ventilation, application of bandages, immobilization of fractures, and various other tasks. Document nature of illness and treatment provided while enroute to the facility. FTO for new EMT staff on protocols, procedures, and best practices in emergency response. Order needed supplies for station and vehicles as needed.

• Operated various vehicle types to ensure timely deliveries and pickups. Drive medical teams, organs, specimens, tissue donors and supplies utilizing NORA vehicles for emergency and non-emergency procurement transportation. Attention to quality, safety and professional customer service. Navigated routes efficiently using GPS technology and mapping systems. Communicated with dispatch to coordinate schedules and resolve delivery issues.

• Render competent patient care in both prehospital and inter-facility settings. Through knowledge of EMS procedures and ability to integrate knowledge and performance into practical situations. Responsibilities include but not limited to vital signs, weights, assisting patients with personal care and activities of daily living, patient transfers/transport, pulse oximetry, point of care testing, application of external monitoring devices, and further technical skills of phlebotomy, cleaning dressing changes, 12-lead ECG's, and insertion of urinary Foley Catheters. Follows venipuncture control procedures and maintains appropriate log sheets. Completes test request entry and specimen receipt using lab computer. Assists in accessioning and centrifugation tasks. Accurately communicates essential information to appropriate personnel. Actively listens. Promotes effective communication flow. Picks up and delivers specimens to appropriate lab. Picks up blood and other specimens from assigned nursing homes and private residences and delivers to appropriate processing area. Picks up lab supplies and delivers to appropriate nursing home. • Performs the duties of an EMT-Basic and security officer at Parmatown Mall and Republic Steel Mill. I perform security rounds and as well as the duties of the EMT. Patrolling of the site making sure everything is safe. Responding as the EMT for any medical emergency that happens on the site. Provide an accurate report for the daily activities. Check over vehicle and first aid bag at beginning of shift.
