I am the lead tech on dayshift responsible for reviewing daily quality control, instrument maintenance, and ordering inventory. I see that the schedule is created and appropriate coverage is provided. I'm the liaison between the staff and leadership. As a generalist, I'm also working in the laboratory independently to provide accurate results and reporting.

• Operated Sophia, Abbot ID, and Veritor bench top testing to perform such tests as Covid, flu and rsv antigen testing.
• Performed specimen processing and receiving of microbiology specimens, loading blood culture bottles. Performed gram stains and plated cultures.

• Operated, calibrated and maintained sophisticated instruments and equipment to facilitate quality laboratory and patient care operations. These instruments included, but not limited to, Cell Dyn hematology analyzer, Diagnostica Stago and MLA 1400 coagulation analyzers, Clinitek urinalysis analyzer, and Vitros chemistry analyzers.
