  • The center provides services to adolescents, adults and familes from diverse backgrounds.
  • My responsibilities encompassed conducting individual counseling sessions and intake assessments in both English and Spanish. I collaborated with my supervisor and interdisciplinary team members to develop treatment plans and evaluate client progress.
  • This internship allowed me to strengthen my active listening skills and enhance my ability to tailor interventions to the unique needs of each client. An important area of professional growth was gaining increased confidence in utilizing my counseling foundations in Spanish.
