Assemble and manage all client and staff scheduling;

  • Interface with clients and field therapists to ensure proper scheduling and that new or modified schedules are immediately communicated to therapists and clients prior to implementation of schedules;
  • Create all new staff training schedules and inform the clients' team of therapists and the clients of the staff member's training hours for each client noted on the training schedule;
  • Conduct weekly "spot checks" on client and therapist schedules to ensure hours are consistent, reconciled (therapist to client schedules) and calculated correctly;
  • Complete weekly schedule reports and email them to the Parent Educator, Accountant, Operations Manager, Administrative Assistant, Regional Manager and Clinical Director each Friday;
  • Work with Administrative Assistant in communicating staff availability and readiness in taking in new clients and waiting list period if staff is unavailable at the time;
  • Work with the Operations Manager in communicating any concerns related to staff not adhering to assigned schedules (e.g. attendance issues) and modify schedules as needed based on feedback from Operations Manager;
  • Collaborate with Case Supervisor regarding any feedback (e.g. issues or concerns that may arise, positive feedback on therapist performance, etc.).
  • Attend career fairs and related events to recruit and further support recruitment needs;
  • Liaise with universities and graduate programs to support recruitment needs;
  • Review all resumes that come in and categorize them by job position and skill level of candidate (e.g. Level 1, 2, 3 or 4 Behavior Therapist, etc.);
  • Arrange for prescreening of candidates (work with Admin Assistant in doing this);
  • Arrange 1st and 2nd interviews for candidates where this is applicable (ensure 2nd interview candidates receive and complete the screening exam in a timely manner-no more than 2 hours allotted to complete screening exam and in a supervised setting-e.g. office);
  • Ensure references are checked following interview(s);
  • Ensure all candidates meeting criteria are offered position based on skill level and applicable hourly rates (for salaried candidates discuss this with management);
  • Ensure the weekly recruitment update is complete reflecting all required information and sent out to the Clinical Director, Operations Manager, Scheduler, Regional Manager and other related staff no later than Friday, each week;
  • Ensure that the Admin Assistant is also informed of candidates accepting job positions so that an Employee Orientation is scheduled by the Admin Assistant;
  • Attendance to company staff meetings and other related meetings.

LEAD BEHAVIOR THERAPIST/LEAD SOCIAL GROUP INSTRUCT

Fulfill all senior therapist duties competently;

  • Assemble all new client program binders;
  • Conduct any special assignments (e.g. material or program development) that clients may need that will be assigned by the Case Supervisors;
  • Work as a substitute therapist at any given time that a therapist cancels a session (this involves travel to various geographical locations in the Bay Area);
  • Conduct client home visit and observe program set up and implementation during client sessions and provide additional training support to therapist, if needed (also refer and utilize the therapist session evaluation form);
