For over 25 years I have worked with all ages and all abilities of learners. I started with my CDA and worked in a Headstart, and eventually I was head teacher at a day care. I went back to school and earned my Associate of Science at NWACC, and then my Bachelor in Elementary education.
While I was looking for a teaching job I took a para-professional position at Reagan elementary in Rogers, where I had completed my student teaching. Once I was hired at Mountainburg I entered the Masters program for Special Education, and completed the degree +15 hours in Autism training. I have worked in the middle and high school, and currently teaching 5th-12th. I have also worked as the district's homebound teacher for as long as I have been employed for all students in the district.
Dedicated educator with a strong focus on individualized lesson planning and parent-teacher communication. Committed to fostering student growth and community involvement.
