Michelle Thurmond

I am a future social worker and social justice entrepreneur. My goal is to work with and advocate for persons experiencing health issues or disabilities preventing access to basic care needs. I am currently completing the Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Services at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, with a concentration in Human Services. My goal is to apply to the Master's of Social Work (MSW) 4+1 program offered through the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor campus.

It's especially meaningful to me, because I've maintained my high GPA since I've attended University of Michigan-Dearborn. Also managing my responsibilities with family and continuing to do my volunteering to service the community.
