SENIOR PROJECT DESIGN

Round Bar Tensile Fixture Inserts for Manufacturing Tests

Fall 2020-Spring 2021

  • Innovated a simpler round bar input mechanism for testing tensile fixtures by replacing threads with slip inserts. Visual 3-D designs and simulations were generated through SolidWorks 2019. Physical testing and machining were also done at the Dickson Testing Company.

Foldable, Lightweight Stool Design Project

Fall 2020

  • Fabricated a portable stool design using SolidWorks to test computer-aided design (CAD) abilities through drop and static test simulations.
