Respond to emergencies within the hospital setting. Round on patients identified using Early Warning System (EWS). Act as expert in IV assessment and obtainment. Provide teaching to bedside nurse. Provide expert assessment and interventions in rapid response, CODE BLUE, acute MI, Stroke, respiratory distress, intubation's, and sepsis. Work with the House Supervisor to keep flow through the hospital and to facilitate transfers of critically ill patients.
