  • Conducted retrospective qualitative case analyses of recently closed child protective investigations, to identify strengths and challenges in casework practice at the Child Protective Specialist (CPS), Child Protective Specialist Supervisor (CPSS), and Child Protective Manager (CPM) levels using a case record review instrument.
  • Information is shared with the Division of Child Protection (DCP) leadership, to inform and improve their casework practice.
  • Drafted Safety Notifications when unsafe conditions are identified, which are shared with the relevant CPS teams for follow-up.
  • Collaboration in internal quality improvement processes including interraters, revision of the case record review instrument, creation of the Family Service Unit (FSU) instrument, and user-testing of the new data-entry platform.
  • Special projects included supporting DCP Quality Assurance in identifying supervisory guidance gaps, the evaluation of the Case History Reviews Pilot Program , and participation in the City-wide CoQI ChildStat Focus Group.

Instrumental in the assessment of Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP) implementation within Residential programs through the review of completed 'Self-Assessment' surveys. Also assisted in semi-annual residential site visits, including youth and staff interviews, to evaluate their programs.
