Installed 4-inch rigid conduit from MCC to the new location, which was about 400 feet away towards the new air compressor; 3C 3/0 was used to power up the motor. Mounted PLC and VFD panels in the MCC to get readings from the new compressor. Also helped out rig electrician with installation of new VFD and PLC upgrades. Installed channel tray and fabricated cable field tray routes for several 24-pair cables. Gland and terminate all control wires. Work extra hours to get the job done safely and on time, before the holiday. job in G.O.M. is complete.

Las Flores Canyon Sabal Oil Company. I began my job by walking down routes for fiber optic cable pulls. Mounted panels to house fiber splices helped with conduit installation. Ran cables in cable tray raceways by manlift. Knock out holes in walls sealed with fire-retardant foam, and route cables in the comm room toward the fiber splice box, all splices being able to pass inspection. After the job was completed, I was sent offshore near the Santa Barbara, California coastline to assist with the instrumentation and upkeep of offline well panels, clean, and replace rubber grommets. And walk down job for future fiber optic cable pulls and chemical skid tubing routes.

  • TESLA: Install new 1-inch EMT conduit rerouted inside the MCC for the AHU; the unit was right above the high-voltage switchgear, so the unit needed to be relocated for fear of a water leak on the unit.
  • Demo out old 1-inch conduit and wire, upsized wire from 3C10 to 3C8 for water heaters at sinks near clean rooms at Tesla.
  • Mounted PLC and RIO panels at floor level, below the new AHU. Routed conduit toward the AC unit for field instruments. Pulled 24 pairs from PLC towards AHU control JB. Demoed out old Cat-6 cables and eliminated old conduit.
  • Once the job was completed, a walkdown with the Tesla commissioning team for inspections was conducted.
  • Built, calibrated and maintained electrical instruments used in design development processes.
  • Tested energized and de-energized circuits, following test procedures and assisted in specialized test procedures.
  • Worked closely with other technicians to complete projects efficiently.
