• Learnt management of acute Neurological conditions like stroke, seizures, spinal cord injuries.
• Learnt outpatient management of various Neurological conditions like chronic back pain, headaches, epilepsy, dementia in my own continuity clinic
• Spent 3 months in Neuro-ICU; learnt management of intracranial hemorrhages, status epilepticus, traumatic brain injuries.
• Performed over 100 EMGs during the EMG rotation.

I actively participated in stroke codes, learned fibrinolytic protocols.

I worked in outpatient clinics and saw inpatient consultations that are mainly for stroke, TBI,or seizures due to metabolic derangements.

During inpatient internal medicine rotation, I improved my abilities for chronic disease management and identifying impacts of chronic medical conditions on nervous system.

I practiced as an ER physician in this underserved area. I had the chance to improve my practical knowledge and management skills about many acute conditions.

Not only did I have the chance to see variety of patients, but I also improved my communication skills with patients and my time
management during acute conditions.
