
With regards to my experience as a chaplain I began my career in 1991 where I was the chaplain at Corcoran state prison. I worked there until 1993 when I was accepted at the university in Mecca Saudi Arabia. There I studied Arabic language and the Islamic sciences. upon my return to America I worked at the maximum prison in Florence Colorado for approximately two years before moving to Baltimore Maryland. I secured a position as the Islamic chaplain with the department of corrections at Metropolitan transition center and have been working there for the past 17 years.
I have worked in many facets of the bakery industry I began my baking career in 1973 working at a small bakery owned by our religious community There we baked bread, pies, cakes, and other pastries From there I joined the Navy and worked in the pastry shop I learned how to convert small batches to baking large batches to feed upwards to 5000 troops After my navy career I began working in store supermarket bakeries Working my way up to become a bake shop manager Up until today I am continuously learning more and more about pastries and pastry products My goal is to continue learning and sharing hopefully passing down my experiences for up-and-coming bakers
