Mikayla Cook

Worked as a Camp Counselor for the 4th and 5th Grade Viking camp two years in a row, 2024 and 2025, after having done a Junior Counselor Internship in 2023. I then proceeded to work the Fall and Winter of 2026 as an After School Care counselor at Hunt Club. My job involved making sure both kids and parents were satisfied with the GPD experience. I was responsible for keeping the kids safe by following all the safety rules, and using appropriate discipline when necessary. Additionally, I led games and group activities for the kids, which included carefully explaining rules and planning out new/ inventive crafts. In general, my job required me to balance customer satisfaction with strict responsibility in order to up hold the GPD reputation of entertainment and security.
