To include my schooling i have just over 8 years of machining experience with 6 of those 8 being actual workplace experience. I like to soak up as much information as i can about what it is im doing at the moment, whether it be one of my hobbies or if it is work related. I have recently started to learn about lean machining, quality control, and how to overall make the work environment better not just for myself but others, i have joined what we call "Star Point Teams" at my current work place where we have meetings about those topics. I helped design and put together a new "Lapping machine" that saved time and produced better finished parts and it was selected as the "winner" between multiple Parker facilities around the United States. I have worked in research and development having to communicate and thoroughly go over plans and changes to be made to produce the best end product we desired. I have had to create entire new SOP's for new processes that I was tasked with figuring and finding out better and new ways of doing things.
