the skills which I have learned over the years includes operating various types of equipment such as being a certified forklift operator, certified in rigging, and crane signaling although my first aid and cpr cards have expired, I have taken both courses many times I am experienced in blueprint reading, also coordinating with other tradesman to accomplish tasks I have several other certifications which have since expired being in one of the most hazardous occupations, I have a vast knowledge of safety protocols and the use of ppe

Affiliations

  • I enjoy designing and creating all types of projects, both with metal and wood. Fishing and bird hunting have been a long time passion of mine.

Accomplishments

  • receiving the status of Journeyman Sheet Metal worker, which required 5 years to complete a 9000 hr course, I believe is my largest accomplishment. I am also proud to have put 2 children through college.

Certification

  • I have or have had licenses in forklift operator, crane signaling and rigging, boom lift operator, ariel platform operator, Hilte power activated tools use, spyder training, first aid\cpr. I have held licenses in flagging, and in 1981 had also completed a Snohomish County Search and Rescue training course, in which I became a full fledged ESAR team member.

Custom

Having been a Search and Rescue volunteer, I had volunteered and responded to several searches, including evidence searches as well. a couple years ago when the Nooksack River flooded the towns of both Sumas and Everson, I had volunteered twice going to help my community, assisting homeowners collecting and removing flood damaged debris from there homes. Also a few years back, I had volunteered in the search for a missing hunter in Whatcom county.
