I was raised in Houston! I got my start in the fast food industry when I was 16 years old. I started training to manage by 17 and was promoted at 18. I took that to my previously mentioned job Center Court and started managing that restaurant at 20 where I used my position to get myself training to bartend.
I started working at this restaurant in the domain which was a pretty busy area. It taught me to deal with food and drinks and make sure I also had servers drinks at the same time as well.
I started doing event work through Austin. Working for a staffing company put me through large events, wedding and parties. It taught me to acclimate to different bars no matter the situation.
This was one of my favorite jobs because of the volume. It shocked me at how busy we were and it taught me to truly multi task and speed up.
What I got out of this experience was starting at a brand new opened bar, learning some new cocktails and dealing with the volume of Montrose.
When I started at this job I started as a server and then manager. Once I managed I started training to bartend.
