Milan Kocmick

I have always had a passion for baking, cooking and making others happy. I started my small business in the fall of 2023. I have made everything from birthday cakes, baby shower treats, retirement cakes and wedding cakes. With my small business, I keep myself as busy as I want to be, I have learned time management, business management and people skills. The joy my baking brings to others is so rewarding and fulfilling.

The Scheels IcePlex is a year-round three sheet ice rink. I work as a sales associate in the concessions area. My roles included taking orders, stocking products, preparing food, cleaning, and working with other staff members. A very fast paced environment has taught me how to work under pressure.

The B & G Milkyway was my first job at 14. I worked there all throughout my high school career. I started working as a part-time sales associate, now I help the owner/manager with opening duties or any projects that she has for me. For example, opening the store, turning on all the machines, checking inventory, stocking, making product, and making sure everything runs smoothly the rest of the day. I also worked closing shifts helping to oversee other staff members as well as helping to close the store.
