An award-winning and accomplished journalist with more than 20 years of experience creating online/social media/television/radio publications. During the last six years has served within the Voice of America Serbian service as an International Broadcaster TV/Online, and provided more than 600 articles, interviews, video stories and photo galleries.
Especially has been focused on the issues of media freedoms, restrictions and pressures towards the worlds and European media, particularly in the Western Balkans (https://bit.ly/3ZUloL2). Author of two a sequel documentary “The Courageous Ones” (Hrabri): Journalism Status in Serbia, and a vast number of stories on the intensive deteoriation of press freedom in Serbia.
Throughout work within the VOA Serbian service, has strived to elevate accountability journalism through special projects, collaborations, and documentaries. Serving not just as an VJ and multimedia reporter, but also producing cross-platform content, including products and programs dedicated to investigative reporting, and developing stories that will deepen engagement with audiences.
Collaborated with other language services, the News Center and Voice of America partner organizations in the Balkans, such as the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN) and the Center for Investigative Journalism, to ensure the most effective strategy for distributing and amplifying the service reporting.
Before joining Voice of America in US capital Washington D.C. has worked for six and half years, as a full-time employee, in RFE/RL's Balkan Service Belgrade bureau in Serbia. During that time has received Award for Excellence in Investigative Journalism.
Prior employment within RFE/RL has spent almost six years working for the, at that time, well-known Serbian independent media outlet B92, where served as radio and TV reporter.
In 2018. received the prestigious Award for Excellence in Investigative Journalism for the story about embezzlement in the construction industry in Serbia's capital Belgrade.
