- Provide my runners and baggers with a clear understanding of quality standards.
- Train new baggers how to bag while teaching them the cleaning and maintenance that needs to be done to ensure operations are running as smoothly as possible.
- Assist baggers when they have issues they cant resolve. I assess the situation and do what i can to fix the problem. If the problem needs to be resolved by a production tech I communicate the issue to them.
- As a runner, I verify that magazines are being bagged properly by scanning, hip-checking, and visually checking at least 5 magazines.
- Stack pallets with boxes to finish work orders.
- Report As Finished (RAF) products that are complete and ready to ship.
- Send signals to bagging machines with correct work orders, batch numbers, and barcodes.
- Communicate with Quality Control issues that are being assessed or need to be addressed.
Hardwood Flooring Install/Refinisher

- Install new floors and trim with various types of wood, including white oak, red oak, hickory, pine, snap-together flooring and others.
- Use of power equipment such as chopsaws, table saws, jigsaws, routers, planers, grinders.
- Sand and refinish new and old floors by using belt sanders, buffers, edgers, orbital sanders, hand-scraping, and hand-sanding.
- Installing and refinishing stairs.
- Once sanding is completely finished, we would coat the floors. Our most common finish was a water-based finish that would require 3-4 coats. If we were staining a floor, we would water-pop the floor and let it sit for 24 hours before staining. Once the stain would dry, we would put 3-4 coats of water based finish.
