I have a Master's degree in Microbiology and Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science. I have been working as a Research Assistant for the last 5 months at the Leibniz Institute for Natural Product Research and Infection Biology - Hans Knoll Institute, in the department of Microbial Pathogenicity Mechanisms under Prof. Bernhard Hube. Moreover, during my master thesis I worked on the development of a luciferase-based damage assay on mammalian cell lines for the discovery of novel antifungal drugs in the same laboratory.
Additionally, I have worked as a Medical Laboratory Technologist in many medical laboratories for over 3 years before applying for master studies in Microbiology at the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena, Germany.
