- Stocking associates are focused on unloading trucks and stocking new freight. They spend the majority of their time in the backroom. Stocking associates must be able to lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts may also be necessary.

- Homestead Police Explorer is a law enforcement-based community service program that falls under the City of Homestead Police Department. During my 5 years in the program, I have gone to many events and helped out my community. Events such as The Races, held near Keys Gate Highschool every November, Bookbag giveaways, Christmas toy giveaways, etc... While going out and helping, it allowed me to talk to people from all over about their lives and them providing us with advice that we will need in the future. I am grateful for this program because it got me out of my comfort zone and made me active in social life.
