• I learn the blacksmith/farrier profession from my grandfather so I got to start when very young went on to apprentice on the track and was first woman to be licensed to shoe on track
• I learned to shoe when we watch horses walk before and after and in-between when necessary it is something I take very serious and everything is extremely crucial when it comes to the hooves "no hoof no horse" is true but "healthy hooves make a happier horse"
• Everything from pulling old shoes to finishing each hoof is very important and should not be taken lightly
• I take a lot of pride in doing the very best work for every individual horse from start to finish with patience

• Feed, set tack, run bandages, get horses to track, blacksmith, run horses, drive van to races pick up slack, fill-in for no show employees

Mr. G was a tough person to work with he was very set in his ways and I learned so much and wish I could go back and pick his brain. I mucked, geoomed, rode on the track and cool horses out bareback in the barn after we rubbed with dry sponge, feed, tidied up with the rest of barn it was ateam effort that had a great flow. It was an amazing experience.
