• Coordinated with other engineers to develop and deliver a social platform for Korean idols and their fans.
• Corrected, modified and upgraded software to improve performance.
• Estimated work hours and tracked progress using Scrum methodology.

• Worked on building a highly-available online marketing platform
• The backend is realized as hundred of micro-services, hosted on Google Kubernetes Engine
• These services varies in implementation: Some serves HTTP requests with Vert.X, some handles gRPC calls and some only consume Kafka messages..
• The platform mainly aims to solve these problems: Serve advertisements on the MoMo mobile app
• Allow non-tech operators to setup advertisements
• Collect advertising performance & metrics to enable machine learning teams
• I am responsible for: Building services for ad-related business like user targeting, new ads format, serving ads to the mobile application and integrating with 3rd party systems
• Refactor services to achieve greater scalability
• Optimizing data transmission and infrastructure cost
• Increasing service uptime and minimizing impact on failure
• Reducing cognitive complexity of asynchronous code.

• Actively contributing, alongside more than 10 people, to a web application development for Swiss client
• Involved in all aspects of making the product, except for management, except that I manage myself
• Familiar with the following languages/frameworks/tools: Java 8, JUnit, Maven, Spring, Selenium, Jenkins, Angular
• Participated activities: Develop new features from provided user story
• Analyze and find solution for defects
• Set up new Spring module for JMS message processing
• Handle test execution and maintenance for unit tests and automation tests
• Also taking advantage of ELCA's training policy to push myself forward
