I work as construction Project Engineer in major investments projects of Housing and Development Fund/ Ministry Of Physical Planning and Public Utilities which comprises more than 60 multi- Storey buildings.

Duties and responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings and specification.
• Assist in cost estimates based on quantity takeoff and current market prices.
• monitor construction schedules, review progress against client requirements and adapt as necessary to address changing needs or circumstances and discuss any delays or issues.
• Verify required permits and certificates to support legal compliance.
• Supervise execution of contracts and prepare contractor's invoices for projects.
• Inspect construction work of contractors to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings and related documents.
• Prepare and maintain daily reports of inspection and organize project files
• Coordinate the work between contractors, utility companies and local authorities.
