Child Caregiver

Kristin Fisher and James Pinto
Ann Arbor, MI
08.2025 - Current

I help Kristin and James with their two children, one newborn and a three-year-old. With their newborn, I'll sing her songs, feed her, take her for walks, and read to her. With their toddler, we're either outside at the park (weather permitting), or finding ways to be creative through storytelling, playing with toys, and baking. Neither children are exposed to technology (iPads, TV time, etc). I've been fortunate to watch both children grow and develop in the time that I've known them!

Student Instructor

New England Literature Program
Alton, NH
05.2025 - 06.2025

Throughout this university-sanctioned program, there were opportunities for students to create their own topic and lesson plan to teach to others with the aid of an adult instructor. This experience put me in a classroom of my peers as their teacher and gave me confidence in my ability to facilitate class discussion. I learned how to balance enforcing the structure of the lesson plan while also remaining flexible for those moments of change in discussion.
