Miranda Mei

As Vice President of Teens Teach Science, I help lead a student-run nonprofit dedicated to making science education more accessible and engaging for younger students. Our mission is to spark curiosity and confidence in STEM by teaching interactive lessons and hands-on activities that make science feel exciting. In this role, I support planning and organizing outreach events, developing lesson content, and coordinating volunteers to ensure our programs run smoothly. I’ve strengthened my leadership, communication, and teamwork skills while learning how to manage real responsibilities.

Babysitting has helped me develop real leadership in a hands-on way: staying organized, setting routines, communicating clearly, and making thoughtful decisions quickly. I take pride in being someone families can rely on, especially because it requires maturity, consistency, and attention to detail. These are the same traits I bring to my school leadership roles, service work, and team environments.
