Strong work ethic, positive attitude and persistence afforded the opportunity to move progressively through the corporate structure from Industrial Engineer to President of a billion-dollar steel company in a career in the oil & gas service and steel industry. Following a successful industrial career, founded Maurlis Solutions LLC, a consulting/advising business, focused on expense mitigation for businesses.

A strong, participative leader with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization. From leading a billion dollar plus company to leading a billion-dollar project, I’ve had the privilege of leading great teams and great people. Much of the success in my career can be attributed to the teams I’ve had the opportunity to lead. I strive to build cultures characterized by high integrity and teamwork. That approach, along with a strong focus on continuous improvement and strategic planning, has been essential to achieving significant business results.
