  • Designed and executed multi-step synthetic routes for target molecules used in polymer/materials research.
  • Contributed to the discovery and development of the use of table salt in plastic chemical recycling leading to a provisional patent and publication.
  • Co-authored in +20 peer-reviewed journal articles, contributing significant experimental data and analysis.

TEACHING AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITES

Teaching several organic chemistry related courses such as, Principals of Organic Chemistry (Aliphatic and Aromatics) and Polymer Chemistry for 2nd level students, Polymer Application and Industrial Chemistry for 4th level students, and Heterocyclic Chemistry for 3rd level students. Using Active learning strategy based on lecture, discussion, brainstorming, field training, group discussions, writing scientific reports, and conducting research projects. Making evaluations for students depends on theoretical exams, oral exams, practical exams, lecture questions, periodic exams, writing an article and doing research. Participating in the descriptions of chemistry major programs and their courses and preparing a plan for developing courses and teaching and learning methods. Member of the committees of examiners and graders for theoretical, practical, and oral exams for all academic teams in the Chemistry Department for students of the Faculties of Science and Education Teach and supervise the organic chemistry practical course work for undergraduate students from level 1 to level 4. Such as, Identification of simple solids and liquids, qualitative analysis of mixtures, Estimation of organic materials, and organic synthesis course.
