• Based in Erbil, Iraq, and lead all internal audit activities across the region (UAE, Jordan and Iraq) for 3 companies GK Dubai & Iraq, GQ Iraq and GKS Jordan, ensuring consistent planning, execution, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain the risk-based annual audit plan, incorporating inputs from management and assurance providers.
• Deliver high-quality Operational, Financial, Compliance, Investigation, and Follow-Up audit reports.
• Provide strategic insight by identifying emerging risks and recommending updates to the audit plan.
• Prepare clear audit reports with actionable observations and recommendations.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and submit periodic progress updates.
• Ensure adherence to corporate policies, departmental procedures, and IPPF standards.
• Build strong relationships with regional stakeholders and promote the value of internal audit.
