• To discuss and approve the overall preparations for national teams and their competition plans submitted by national sports federations;

• To discuss and endorse the detailed plans for the preparation of training camps for national teams provided by the national sports federations;

• To discuss and revise the detailed annual budget plan for national sports federations, as well as to approve the detailed annual budget plan for national teams in accordance with specific deadlines;

• To make recommendations and comment on the programs submitted by national sports federations on the activities of national teams;

• Establishment and follow-up of the database on national teams’ participation.

• To study and evaluate reports of technical experts of national federations submitted at intervals and comment thereon, as is the case with all reports issued after the end of an event, including training camps and competitions;

• Discuss all educational programs for national sports federations and make recommendations regarding their content and organization;

• Provision of technical support to national teams.

• Conduct field visits to national teams and prepare the required reports.

• Study the results of the participation of national teams in the various tournaments and camps and suggest ways to improve them.

• Study of development programs for various national teams provided by sports national federations.

• Providing technical advice to national federations’ technical advisors on all matters relating to the sponsorship of national teams’ players. Incentives- reward-discharge-study-treatment

• Monitoring of national and private associations for the development of the technical and scientific performance of athletes;

• Follow-up of projects for the scientific development of athletes.

• To consult and express an opinion on the technical aspects of the correspondence received from sports federations and to prepare responses thereon.

• Provision of technical studies and consultations in sports.

• Update the list of players to keep pace with sporting developments by submitting recommendations to the Secretariat.

• Participation in the preparation of the Department's strategic plan and the preparation of third annual periodic reports.

• Participation in the training and qualification of new staff.

• Participation in technical training and training programs.

• Participation in the construction of the Strategic Plan for the Sports Sector.

• Provision of sports sector studies and consultations from outside the Olympic Committee.

• Management of projects for the development of people affiliated with the sports system (coaches, referees, players, administrators...)

• Membership of committees working on studies and evaluation of sports sector projects.
