I had the opportunity to pay my way to go to Costa Rica from February 2023 to May 2023. I volunteered in Costa Rica to teach English to elementary-aged children. It was a transformative experience that significantly impacted my personal and professional growth. Working with these eager young minds was an incredibly rewarding experience. I designed interactive lessons that engaged students, making learning enjoyable while addressing their individual needs. Patience, adaptability, and effective communication became my guiding principles as I navigated the challenges of a foreign educational system.  It taught me the value of patience, cultural sensitivity, and effective communication. Working with these eager young minds was an incredibly rewarding experience.
