Projects

To track driver routes and payroll information each pay period, I created the Driver Biweekly using Microsoft Excel. This spreadsheet provided one centralized location to track each driver’s route, stops, cash carried, assigned helpers, absences, and any changes or issues that occurred during the pay period.

I also included sections to track truck mileage and confirm that drivers completed the

required truck wash. Recording mileage helped monitor vehicle usage and identify potential maintenance concerns. For routes that included bonuses, I added a section for managers to document them.

This system helped keep all route, driver, vehicle, and bonus information organized and easily accessible when payroll was processed.

The backstock was not being updated regularly, making it difficult to know what inventory was available or where items were located. I was tasked with creating a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet to organize the backstock by item, item ID, backstock location, and corresponding floor location.

I first identified and documented the inventory currently in the backstock. I then verified each item’s ID and location, which sometimes required walking the warehouse to locate and confirm the information.

To keep the system accurate, I regularly revisited the backstock to record changes. Items were often moved to the sales floor and replaced with new inventory, so I updated the spreadsheet accordingly. This created a more organized and reliable system for locating and tracking backstock inventory.
