  • Collaborated with multiple disciplines, researched blood how to streamline pts taking blood thinners to get of prompt care. The collaboration and research outcomes subsequently resulted in implemented standard of care policy relating to blood thinner policy. My contribution led to more efficient and effective patient care, in turn led to a positive decrease of patient frustration and improved gaps in patient care amongst interdisciplinary providers.
  • Identified a significant knowledge gap in, minority patient population. Through research, process oversight and collaboration of needs for this population by achieving a more complete education process for this specific minority population.
  • Identified a gap in patient care related to documentation process of patients with signed pain contracts. Through research, chart investigation, deduction, process oversight and collaboration the documentation gap was identified. Appropriate levels of management alerted of this deficiency to make system wide adjustments. Resulting in improved patient safety and provider liability.
  • Identified a medical standard that was not being applied/followed during ambulatory biopsies. Through professional nursing knowledge of standard of practice. Took urgent action to rectify this deficit and notified appropriate management.
