I am currently a freshman at Arizona State University, where I am working towards my degree with the goal of becoming a forensic psychologist. Alongside my studies, I am employed as a store associate at In-N-Out, which helps me develop valuable skills in balance, understanding, communication, and leadership. I train throughout the school year as a club team soccer player as well. My main focus is on achieving my academic and career goals, driven by my passion for helping others through forensic psychology.
I have big love for volunteering, and over the years, I have dedicated more than 500 hours to various community service activities. Volunteering allows me to connect with people from all walks of life, make a positive impact, and give back to my community. Whether it’s helping kids with disabilities, supporting the homeless, or working with younger students, I truly enjoy contributing my time and energy to make a difference in the lives of others. Today, I continue to volunteer when I see opportunities.
In 2022, I volunteered at Unified, where I worked with kids who have disabilities. I helped organize and run a prom for them, providing a fun and inclusive experience. Additionally, I taught math to the children, helping to build their confidence and understanding in the subject.
I also volunteered at a soup kitchen, where I handled food distribution for the homeless. I met with families, providing support and kindness in their time of need. My duties included giving out blankets and water bottles, playing with children, and donating essential items for their homes.
In 2023, I volunteered at an elementary school, where I read to younger students, helping to foster their love of reading. I led games on the field, encouraging physical activity and teamwork among the children. Additionally, I took on a leadership role during a zoo trip, guiding a younger group and enhancing their learning experience outside of the classroom.
