- Since 2007, I have worked with the Baltimore City Department of Social Services / Family Income Specialist. This included the SNAP benefit program, cash assistance and MEDICAID for adults, children and family.
- Most recently I worked both in E&E for non-modified adjusted income, aka MAGI cases (modified adjusted gross income), and the Maryland Health Connection for MAGI.
- Over 500 cases of Long-Term Care, or LTC MEDICAID applications have been assigned to me during my time with the state of Maryland. I know firsthand how complex it can get.
- Many cases in which the customer was without the proper medical coverage, I was able to assist and put them on the right track. This also involved working alongside some of the MEDICARE programs.
- There is also the QMB and SLMB MEDICAID programs in which I was involved in.
- Additionally, in connection with MD EHC (CTAD), I was able to activate over a thousand applications.
