Summary
I have taught U.S. History and World History at the high school level. I thoroughly enjoy teaching U.S. History and do not shy away from standardized testing areas. My students during my student teaching year passed with 72% proficiency on their Leap 2025 U.S. History test. I love bringing real world situations into my lessons and creating activities that have students apply their learning in creative ways. I use mini quizzes, student work, and in class discussions to help plan lessons to better fit my students needs. I love getting involved in the community that I am in, I assistant coached the girls soccer team at my school for the past two years. I was also the co-junior sponsor where we organized events such as Prom, Junior Fun Day, and college tours.
