Morgan Gallagher

My name is Morgan Gallagher, and I'm 20 years old from Delray Beach, Florida. I have a passion for the ocean, boats, and diving. I grew up boating between South Florida and the Bahamas, but my love for working on the water began when my parents bought a 44-foot Leopard catamaran. We spent two years sailing, crossing the Atlantic and visiting over 15 countries. This taught me invaluable lessons about independence, resilience, and hard work. From a young age, I have continued to build my life around the water and in 2023, I chose to pursue my college education in Oahu, where I could stay close to the ocean and continue learning new skills. In the spring of 2025, I had the opportunity to live and work aboard a 112-foot sailing vessel while crewing and crossing the Pacific. This opened my eyes to even more different places and opportunities I could pursue. Coming back to Oahu, I began working for Moana Sailing Company where I have spent the last year. I am now in my senior year at Hawaii Pacific University, and I'm excited to continue exploring new opportunities as well as expanding the passions I've built throughout my life.
