Committee Leadership Work

  • MTSS Committee, Implemented structural changes for how this committee was run to create efficiency in information gathering and recording, as well as documenting what action steps needed to be taken to support students, and scheduling data review sessions with staff. Reviewed intervention data collected by staff and determined how to proceed to ensure student success moving forward. Collaborated with multidisciplinary team (MDT) when needed to provide student data and MTSS notes when a referral was made.
  • Discipline Committee Chair, Lead the building in the development of a school-wide discipline plan, reviewed the plan on an annual basis, and facilitated a building-wide vote to approve the plan each year. Collaborated with administration for feedback on how the discipline plan could be implemented effectively by all parties and to add clarification for staff if necessary, during the year.
  • Tier I (PBIS) Committee Co-Chair, Lead the implementation of school-wide positive behavior intervention and supports for my building.
