• Graduate Assistantship Research, 08/22 - 12/23, Explore the mechanism of pathogenesis by Edwardsiella ictaluri to the channel Catfish using various microbiology and molecular tools and techniques.
• Triple Negative Breast Cancer Research, 06/18 - 04/20, Data Scholar programming. Studied the levels of cancer, and major causes of cancer and breast cancer. Studied TNBC in women in the United States. Conduct a visualization method of the statistics of women that were diagnosed with TNBC.
• Health Careers Opportunity Program Be_PARP Summer Program, 06/18 - 07/18, Conducted research in the Cancer Center at Howard University Hospital. Participated in core didactic lectures designed to prepare them for behavioral health training and research. Spent approximately 20 hours each week at a field placement site or learning laboratory working on a behavioral health related research project or task. Prepared presentation with proposal and presented to judges, simulating a real situation resulting in second place.
• Sickle Cell Disease Data Expertise Training, 08/16 - 12/17, Training in computer databases. Designed to learn about the different scientists' research and plans during their journey on finding results and information on Sickle Cell disease and the causes of the disease in generations and different countries. Gained experience on excel and databases.
