As the Site Safety and Health officer (SSHO), I am responsible for the day-to-day enforcement of the Site-Specific Safety Plan (SSSP), safety compliance, and execute personnel/facility inspections. I monitor all applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines to ensure compliance with established safety protocols with the goal of ensuring safe, efficient, and effective worksites. I implement safety and emergency response plans and ensure that the project's safety requirements are achieved. I communicate with internal and external client's to ensure program and facility meet compliance with regulations, and provide safety training to technical staff, visitors, and subcontractors.

My scope of work includes the removal and disposal of select electrical components; repairing electrical cabling and distribution lines; repairing the switching and routing equipment; and repairing substation components to include, but not limited to, electrical boards, circuit breakers, tie breakers, conductors, cabling, terminations, ground transformers, motor operators, and the repair of the supervisory control and data acquisition system at Substation A to restore the system to its customary state of operation. Temporary power will be provided during repairs. Inspection, testing, and commissioning will be performed on the electrical distribution system and the three substations following repairs. Hazardous material disposal and station support is included in the project. All work has been done to current codes, regulations, and industry standards.
