My tenure at the Winston-Salem Police Department showcased my proficiency in criminal law and critical thinking. Through collaboration and innovative strategies, I significantly improved investigation outcomes and court processes, demonstrating exceptional courtroom testimony and community policing skills. As a patrol officer, I handled variety of calls for service and was often called on by supervisors to complete specific assignments. In 2021, I was promoted to the rank of Corporal while assigned to the Traffic Enforcement Unit. As a Corporal, I am at times tasked with assuming the role of sergeant for daily operations, escorts, and fatal crash scenes. I am a General instructor, where I am the lead instructor for Techniques of Traffic Law Enforcement, and assist in other block of BLET general instruction. I am also a Specialized Driving Instructor.
