Installs, configures, and repairs radio frequency communications equipment. Aligns and tunes systems to achieve maximum performance. Evaluates systems for performance and security and makes corrections as needed.

Plans, organizes, and directs all radio frequency equipment support activities. Ensures connectivity and security of RF links by solving hardware, software, configuration, and alignment issues. Protects systems and data from cyber threats.

• Perform highly complex (Senior-Level) and proactive security enforcement to protect life and property in support of Commissioned Officers (State Troopers).
• Work involves overseeing, monitoring and/or patrolling grounds; receiving visitors; inspecting and safeguarding State and Court buildings, properties, and equipment; directing traffic (vehicular and pedestrian) and issuing tickets.
• Work is performed under limited Supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement.
• Monitor and operate visitor screening equipment such as metal detectors, magnetometers, X-ray machines bollards systems, electronic access pedestals, and concealed handgun License/ to carry (CHL/LTC) stations.
• Monitor and operate sophisticated video surveillance, access control and intrusion detection systems.
• Operate the Capitol Region Emergency Operations Center display boards, camera systems, unarmed aerial system feeds, social media accounts, and radio communication equipment.
• Patrol assigned areas for security violations, guards against theft and mischief, and respond to alarms/calls for service or assistance. May include bike patrol in and around the Capitol Complex.
• Support Law enforcement Commissioned Officers (State Troopers) in investigative efforts and in apprehension of suspects in cases of unauthorized entry into State buildings, malicious mischief, or other violations.
• Operate Capitol access card and badge-issue station, including but not limited to, capturing photos, completing data entry, and becoming proficient in the card access database.
• Provide emergency assistance, including administering first aid, evacuations and incidents posing threats to the safety and well-being of law enforcement officers or the public

• Monitor and analyze camera and access control-based systems.
• Effectively communicate incident response and policies via telephone and radio, operate access control technology, and provide general assistance to customer, vendors, and guests.
• Support assigned regional and international physical security teams as they prepare for, respond to, and recover from both crisis and non-crisis incidents.

• Answer routine emergency calls, monitor alarms and video equipment, including fire alarms, door alarms, and duress alarms.

• Determine validity of documents and claims by American Citizen Services (ACS), Immigrant Visa (IV) and Non-Immigrant visa (NIV) applicants and provides analysis and reports of findings in potential fraudulent cases. Use state of the art software tools to pre-screen visa cases to identify potential fraud before applicants show up for interview.
• Conduct fraudulent interviews of applicant suspected of fraudulent claims and suspicious travel.
• Conduct field investigation when necessary and prepare investigative reports.
• Monitor fraudulent workload and ensure that the Consular Affairs systems and other software tools and best practices are used for maximum efficiency in the investigation and tracking of case work.
• Conduct training and drafts analysis to educate newly arrived officers (Consuls) regarding local cultural, economic, and social practices. Conduct training for newly hired local staff to educate them on Consular Fraud Prevention systems. Making sure they get familiarized with the U.S and local immigration laws, rules and procedures that impact migration and travel.
• Monitor local developments that impact migratory flow and illicit travel and reports on these issues to the Fraud Prevention Manager.
• Build and maintains with relevant mid-level local authorities, third countries consulate/embassies and U.S agencies/institutions, universities, and local businesses.
• Build and maintains repository of companies and financial institutions associated with fraudulent cases.
• Prepares and sometimes participates in related outreach activities and /or consular fraud prevention campaigns through town halls, meetings, internet café and social media.
